Citizenship Preparation
This class is for students wishing to prepare to work toward becoming naturalized American citizens. The class helps students gain a better understanding of the N-400 application, the interview process, US History, and local, state, and federal government. Lessons will stress the procedural steps necessary to become a US citizen. Moderate proficiency in English is required. To qualify for citizenship, you must be:

At least 18 years old and have been a permanent resident for the past 5 years with no special circumstances.

At least 18 years old and are currently married to and living with a US citizen, and have been married to and living with that same US citizen for the past 3 years, and your spouse has been a US citizen for the past 3 years.

- Class Location: New London Adult & Continuing Education - Three Shaw’s Cove
- Day Classes: Thursday 12:30–2:30 pm
- Evening Classes: Thursday 6:30–8:30 pm
