Prehistoric metallurgy. Thousands of years before written records began, humans first learnt to convert special rocks into a wonderful new material called metal, that quite literally changed the world.

Come and find out how our ancestors did it, in a fascinating evening full of film and photos, and where you'll get the chance to to handle a wide range of objects and artefacts associated with primitive metalworking.
