Find Us ›Shaw's Cove Three General Educational Development (GED) ProgramWant to Finish Your High School Education?The GED (General Education Development) course is an intensive, 16-week review session conducted for those who need to prepare quickly for the GED examination. This course is offered in English as well as in Spanish. Traditional classroom instruction is provided in English, Social Studies, Math, Literature, and Science to review for the seven hour high school equivalency examination. The GED exam is given monthly to individuals who are at least 17 years of age and have been officially withdrawn from school for a minimum of six months. A withdrawal document with parental signature is required for all 17 and 18 year olds. Accommodations for the GED test are available for qualified individuals with a disability.
